Silvia Drift ( mechanical pencil)PlatinumJpizzle 06-23-2005, 02:25 PM Heres something i started today, I need to go out and get some Art pencils ( shading pencils) and a blending stump to get the shading real good. I just used a mechanical pencil for now, also My scanner sucks, so i took pics with a digital camera ( poor quality) looks real grainy. C&C welcomed http://img231.echo.cx/img231/4193/silviadrift0he.jpg (http://www.imageshack.us) Update http://img298.echo.cx/img298/8761/dsc026664qy.jpg (http://www.imageshack.us) just have to shade in the rims and tires, and touch of a few areas Platinum 97_sho 06-23-2005, 04:58 PM :eek2: :worshippy slammedscion 06-23-2005, 05:29 PM very nice drawing. I really like the shading keep up the good work. asaenz 06-23-2005, 09:17 PM Verrry Nice! The Silvia is one of my favorite cars. I still can't make up my mind which is more aggressive looking, the S15 or the 2K Mudstang Cobra R. al bonzelite 06-24-2005, 04:36 AM that's damn good, matey. i see the carbon fibre hood. the negative camber on the front. you did great. only obvious thing is that there is no steering wheel indicated. you would see at least the gauge cluster hump of the dash. and you sort of made the seats not as well-rendered. they're uneven. but i'm nit-picking. you have a fine drawing. :) knightvision 06-24-2005, 08:55 AM Beautiful! Great work! Only prob is it's not drifting... PlatinumJpizzle 06-24-2005, 11:34 AM bonzelite] "no steering wheel indicated" Its there, Its not as noticable ( right hand drive) Maybe i will make it stand out more. "seats not as well-rendered. they're uneven" In this progress pic i took, The seats were unfinished, I noticed before taking the pics the seats were a bit off, but thanks for pointing it out, And thanks for helping me out. I still have lots of more shading to do on this thing. Once i get a hold of a blending stump, and some darker ( shading) pencils. The shadows and highlights will stand out alot more And as for it not drifting, the original plan was to make it drifting and enter the motion contest, But i started to draw it in motion and decided i liked it better standing still. ( maybe i just can't draw cars in motion, Lol) Thanks for the comments Platinum Jeep_Rubicon 06-25-2005, 07:30 PM Looks great. grantrl78 06-25-2005, 10:34 PM That looks good! Making pencil work really realistic is so hard and it takes a long time! It is alot of friggin work to make stuff look really polished and shiny. 97_sho 06-26-2005, 12:12 AM :eek2: :worshippy still :eek2: :worshippy stuffbyalex 07-01-2005, 01:29 PM Great work.
