94 Jepp GC Laredo ceiling liner...stx620 06-21-2005, 08:08 PM has decided to come down. It started slowly but is now pretty much all the way down. Any ideas on getting to stick again? Ironing it maybe? :o) I'd love to fix it without having to get it reupholstered. dksob81 06-22-2005, 12:04 AM i don't know if ironing it will work. I have done many headliner jobs on other vehicles, get some spray adhesive (from autozone, pepboys, etc.) remove the healiner as an assembly and spray the adhesive on the backing board meterial and then place the liner on the backing board making sure to pulll it tight to make sure no wrinkles ar ein it. and it will be as good as new.. stx620 06-22-2005, 10:30 AM Thanks DK! I live in a condo with not a lot of room to work on a car BUT i will find a spot and give it a try. Bob D. 06-23-2005, 11:18 AM If all else fails, just tack it up. They sell special tacks. SteveB05 06-24-2005, 04:08 AM You can pull it out and get some GOOD (go to a fabric store, not Autozone) spray adheasive. To remove, pull all the support pillar covers, dome and over head consoles and visors. Then there are a few clips that hold the fiberboard up. Pull it out the rear hatch...carfully remove the fabric from the board spray both surfaces, then put the fabric back on with a roller and reinstall. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
