I'm having a problem with blowing fuses on the blower motor for the A/C. When I bought the blazer used, it had a melted down blower speed switch that only worked on high speed. Then one day it started blowing the fuse so I changed the blower speed switch, which didn't help. So next I changed the blower motor itself and that too did not help the fuse blowing problem. How do you check the blower resistor once it's removed. Is there a resistance level that should be present on them? could this be my problem? And what else is there to the blower system. And finally when I first blew a fuse it was a 25 amp fuse is this the correct size?

Thanks in advance for any help possible.

I'm Also Having The Same Problem On My 90 S10 Blazer That I Just Bought. I've Checked Everything. I've Talked To Several Mechanics, So I'm Pretty Sure Everything Has Been Checked....looks Like It Is A Short Somewhere.
