Lol I havent been on this board in a while because my car was running fine up untill 2 days ago when I was driving with my ice cold air ac and all of the sudden...."PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSFSFSFSFFGFGFGFSGFGFFTTHF HTFHTFHTFHTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" I was like, what the hell!?!?!?! I had my music LOUD with my subs and the PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSFSFSFSFGFTSFTHFTHFSHS SSSSS overpowered it... WITH MY WINDOWS CLOSED! So I pulled over and saw my freon shooting all over the place (green goo....being the oil...) was also coming out. I couldnt take it! I sweat for ANYTHING... I oculd be sitting down somewhere and I could just start sweating! Not cool! I took off my compressor, put it on top of the engine, connected the lines, started to add freon, and it starts to go PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSFFTFTSFFSFSTSFTTFSFTSFTSF TSSSSSSSSSS AGAIN then starts to gargle when the oil starts coming out of the side of the compressor. And this is with the engine off too. I was wondering if I could take the compressor apart myself and buy some sort of rebuld kit to replace all seals and gaskets. This sounds or seems like a seal problem internally.

Has anyone ever heard of rebuilding their own compressors? Or I might just get a brand new one. I dont trust remanufactured ones, as I went through 4 of them on my explorer and finally yelled at them and they said "I will give you your money back but dont come back!" Their compressors lasted about a week each. I bought a BRAND new one on ebay for dirt cheap and has been FREEZING the inside of my car. I love it! It is a COLD mofo. I hope I could find one like this again for my civic. I still think its funny that I come on this board and see like 8 posts about AC problems. DAMN SUMMER HERE IN FL! OR EVEN IN THE ENTIRE US!

theres a pressure valve onthe compressor to keep them from blowing up pretty much. id take it to a place where they cancheck the ac. i remember when mine did that took it to some place they did a full inspection onthe ac system for 35$ and refilled it for an extra 75$. blows kinda cold but honda ac suck
