Eh, the taurus needed hijacking... I was kinda wondering about that. i think I might do away with my chrome handles for some painted ones. I'd drop th nerf bars if someone important didn't need them.

nope, no SHO here, this looked like the base model Taurus; the bumpers were that unpainted grey color. Even an SHO that old prolly wouldn't have moved very fast.

my gf comes home and says how fast her friends car is cause its got "all this stuff on it" (turns out it has like a big fart can exhaust tip and some cheap neon). him and his buddies think their cavaliers and neons/civics are the shit. is it just where i live or does everywhere have these morns? lol.

no i am pretty sure we all have them. i see them all the time and they always think they are going fast in their little go-karts with there fart tubes. lol maybe they will grow out of it someday and get a real motor.

My favorite though, is the fact that they will buy a 15-20K car, then add another 8-15K (that dosen't even always include paint and glitter) to be as fast as a stock gt mustang or camaro that you can by new for 24K

thats exactly what i tried to explain to her, like shit go buy a stock V8 camaro or mustang....she just didn't get it lol. i had a cavalier once...in high school. it was good for things like um...driving to work, and school! not ever racing or pimping out.

whatever guys; I have a geo metro with drag slicks and a 9 foot high spoiler and a 12" diameter fart muffler and I run the quarter in 3 seconds. thats how cool i am :loser:

I don't race my truck because I didn't buy it for that. My Silverado is a work truck. Now don't get me wrong.....I've gotten on the 6.0L a few times just for fun........But when I see these kiddies with their "racers" I have to laugh. I'm an old guy, so I enjoy getting out my '68 Camaro SS 396, or my '70 Chevelle with the 454. The little kiddies can't move out of the way fast enough! I'll get a few that want to try me....pulling up beside me and "rubberneckin'"...I like to tap the throttle and let the pipes growl at them, then I send them home crying to their mommies. :crying: But like I said, I don't race my truck. :grinno:
