2002 bmw 3-series winter driving and issuesmeatslim 06-16-2005, 10:19 AM hey, im looking into a 2002 3-series with RWD and auto-transmission. I am planning to use it in an area with really really heavy snow (like atleast a foot a day is regular) and really sloped roads. This is probably an exaggeration, but aanyway.. i wanna ask how the 3 series with RWD performs in the snow? and also any reliability issues? i really don't wanna be stranded, it really gets 30 below and thats NOT an exaggeration. Celsdogg 06-16-2005, 01:32 PM it drives like all other RWD cars. you should really be looking at and E46 325XI or 330XI all wheel drive. you cant rely on that traction control for that kinda snow. . . or maybe even a subaru? meatslim 06-17-2005, 10:06 AM thanks, went for a jaguar vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
