Detailing touch-up paint spots?

I recently put a few coats up touch-up paint on my car, but the thing is I wanna know how to buff it out so its not rough, I want it to be smooth like the rest of the paint on the car is, what should I use???

Let it cure for a week or so and then buff it out with some Meguiars rubbing compound.

ok, thanks for the help. Can it be any ordinary compound or does it have to be Meguiars?

Now I was just told that I need to put primer on the scratch before the touch-up paint should of been applied. The scratch literally took off the paint on the car down to the black. What kind of primer should I use?
