Detailing touch-up paint spots?Zachp911 06-15-2005, 09:07 PM I recently put a few coats up touch-up paint on my car, but the thing is I wanna know how to buff it out so its not rough, I want it to be smooth like the rest of the paint on the car is, what should I use??? GTmike400 06-15-2005, 10:21 PM Let it cure for a week or so and then buff it out with some Meguiars rubbing compound. Zachp911 06-15-2005, 10:45 PM ok, thanks for the help. Can it be any ordinary compound or does it have to be Meguiars? Zachp911 06-16-2005, 08:26 PM Now I was just told that I need to put primer on the scratch before the touch-up paint should of been applied. The scratch literally took off the paint on the car down to the black. What kind of primer should I use? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
