I have a 1997 Sebring with a passenger side seat belt that will not pull out... Kind of a problem since the police like to stop people for seat belt violations. Have tried to get it loose, no luck.. any other with this problem or ideas for fix

I have 96 Sebring Convt same problem but on drivers side.
Have disassembled and reassembled but to no avail. Have
searched for a rebuilder of retractors with no luck so guess
the only solution is to purcahse a new replacement which
is available from Chrysler at about $100. If you have found
a solution please post. THANKS
