New Strutskbrown528I 06-13-2005, 06:59 PM Hi Everyone, My mechanic put New Struts in my car( Front end Only). They are the same as the original ones that come with the 528i, I dont know the name. My car sits up very high over the wheel well and I hate the way it looks. He says that they will settle and lower, what can I do to speed up the process? I was thinking about lowwering springs. Any Help is Appreciated!! kbrown528i Amrish 06-15-2005, 09:09 AM lowering springs more stability but more problems coz ur car will be prone to underside damage also , u must see if the ride comfort will be decreased just check if by installing lowering springs, will it be compatible with stock shocks amm jbyron 06-15-2005, 04:16 PM It is not recommended that you mix lowering springs with non-sport shocks Amrish 06-15-2005, 05:09 PM thats what i said the lowering springs will be shorter thus, i think that the shocks must be those which are able to work with the shorter throw of the springs vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
