I wonder if there are any tricks to clean interior panels with carpet-like fuzzy covering I have on the doors of my S500. Once those panels start shedding some fuzz and some dirt is in it it really looks lousy. I have seen many pictures of older for-sale cars that seem to have that perfectly clean-shaven look...Is there a trick (shaving??) to getting the fuzz off and cleaning the dirt out?
Now we are on this topic, same thing for carpets...I see these perfectly spaced bands running accross carpets on older for-sale cars. Again...do they shave these carpets like the lawn at Wimbledon????

Or are these UFO markings?

Or just the marks of ultra precise vacuum cleaning?

there is a such thing as an upholstery/carpet/fabric shaver, ask about it at a fabric store

What I am wondering is whether this may work or whether anybody else has ever tried it...
