Does the A/C clutch try to engage when called for?

You may just need a recharge.

You should hear a click as well as hear the engine idle speed change slightly when it engages due to the extra load.

A click like "cdru" wrote, and you can see it in the Software... "A/C Request"... you can also test you clutch by tapping F4 and cursor up. Then you should hear the clutch clicking. Tab again F4 and yet use the cursor down key... you should hear the clutch again. Yet it's in normal position. To stop sending the signal by the software, only tab the "end "-Key.

If you get HOT air when you switch to cold, I'd look for a problem with the diverter door acatuator.....

Bonjour

Can you tell me what is the diverter door acatuator.
Is it inside the car ( les commandes de circuits )

Merci de la réponse

Paul

Yes..inside...well hidden. Photos here from Bonneville, but similar in transport manual.

what a job to reach the actuator door!

IN fact I did remove that trim pad a few times to access and remove the instrument cluster some time ago and it is quite easy. But I had not checked for access to the diverter door actuator at that time.
