Wipers stopped workingtarpon230 06-10-2005, 10:40 PM They totaly stopped in the up position. I checked the fuses and they are ok. I replaced the wiper motor about a year ago. I replaced it with a rebuilt one. Do these motors burn out that quick or could there be another problem? I will check the relays in the AM( I hope that will work but thinking not). Any help would be great 12Ounce 06-11-2005, 07:49 AM Model year? tarpon230 06-11-2005, 07:53 AM 2001 Windstar, I replaced the wiper motor about a year ago. miles333 06-16-2005, 12:54 AM They totaly stopped in the up position. My wipers stop intermittently on a full moon. My rear wiper started swinging in the OPPOSITE direction. Thanks. Miles tarpon230 06-17-2005, 01:13 PM It s like 40$ for the motor if you turn in your old one. That's for a rebuilt one. But it is a pain the azz to install. You have to take a couple layres off to get to the motor. tarpon230 08-23-2005, 09:00 PM replaced the wiper motor 2 months ago in my 01 windstar and they stopped working again. I have replaced the motor 3 times. WHat can be the problem. 12Ounce 08-23-2005, 09:37 PM I've replaced the (2) wiper motor relays a couple of times on my '99, but never the motor itself. ?? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
