I dont know if it was exactly 60k, but close. The car runs fine, so I am wondering if this is common for Olds to do this around 60,000 miles just so I will take it to the dealership?
Thanks for your help.

Not just at 60k but at any mileage - it just means that your computer has stored a trouble code. Autozone has a scanner for OBDII systems ('96 and newer) and will pull the codes and tell you what they mean for free.
