1991 TEG LS B16 swap questionsSanka 06-09-2005, 02:41 PM OK I have decided pretty much that the B16 is the engine for me. Its cheap and its got what I want. My car is a 1991 Acura Integra LS(so you know what I am dealing with) I have a few questions: 1. Should I go with the 88-91 Sir1 B16a1 which is 160hp/111ft. and doesnt require any wiring conversion(I dont think). Or should I go with the 92-93 Xsi which is 170hp/113. The Xsi is an OBD1 engine which you probably already know. If I go with the Xsi what things will I need besides a conversion harness. Will the dizz and everything else that comes with a full swap fit in my car. http://hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc2000search.cgi?what=page&item=30003 There isn't much difference in the price of the g1 and g2 b16s. Im just wondering which one is the best for me. What will I need besides what is in that link? Im not going to do the swap myself. I just need to know what I will need. 2. I am probably going to turbo the engine in the future. Is that a good setup. B16 + boost. CASHJON 06-11-2005, 07:25 PM i have a 91 integra ls 3dr hb with a jdm b16a1. so fa r i have..................... Rgacke 06-17-2005, 01:28 AM Maybee its just me but I wouldn't pay $449 for 10 more hp and two more ft lbs of tourqe. That $$ could be spent on cams/tune up parts/ect instead. Sticking w/OBD0 will only make you wire up vtec, i believe its two wires and your done. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
