Hey fellas,

My right headlight has gone out on me. When my daytime running lamps come on the right side doesn't work. I noticed the other night when i was driving that the right side wasn't as bright so i got out and check and the headlight was out. When i turned on my highbeams however, the rightside then lit up. How can i fix this? Can a simple bulp replacement for the right headlight do the trick?

If so, how do i change it. Is it difficult? Or can you just undo the clips and screw in the new bulb?

Thanks for the help.

Sounds like the low beam filament is dead, and most likely a bulb replace is all ya need. Look for the wire/plug in on the back of the lens [from inside the engine compartment.] It just twists out, and the replace bulb justs goes into the plug housing. NOTE, try to not handle the glass part of bulb with hands, use a small clean rag or something.

The following link won't go to the "01's, but the general process is the same.

be careful when removing the balck ring that hold the bulb socket in the housing; these tend to break really easily.
