I adapted a late '70's Ford igniton box to it once I figured out the wiring and it ran great! The only problem here is that the Celica was carbed, and MR2's are injected. I don't know if the injection ECU will have a problem with a different ign. mod. on there. The Ford boxes are very cheap, though, about $10 used or $25 new. e-mail me if you want the Ford box wire list. I know MSD, Crane, Jacobs and other have aftermarket systems that connect to Jap cars for $150-300. Contact a place like Summit Racing for more info on those. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
