ABS motor will not turn offdarthlaw 06-04-2005, 05:24 PM I just changed the front brake pads on my 2001 Yukon and now the ABS motor will not turn off. Any help would be great. WEF 06-05-2005, 10:00 AM Most likely the ABS control module that includes the pump. gmpartsdirect is the cheapest I found for a new one but there are re-builders much less expensive. After it's installed it will have to be flashed with the proper scan tool. In my case, that was another $200. I doubt if your brake work caused anything but you never know. The low cost code readers don't display ABS codes so IMO a dealer or reliable shop with the proper tool is your best bet for diagnosis. It's an expensive area to throw parts at. bcopeland 06-05-2005, 12:46 PM check out http://www.circuitsolutions.info/ darthlaw 06-05-2005, 07:28 PM Thanks for the info. The website was very informative. I am going to pull the unit tomorrow and send it in to have it repaired. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
