Was wondering if theres a way to open the trunk besisdes using a key for 96 lumina. is there a switch under the drivers seat like foreign cars.

No. Might be a button inside the glovebox on the left side.

My 95 Lumina LS has a yellow button to the lower left of the steering column that pops the trunk lid.
