Octane Booster?

I was in wesco the other day and saw a bottle of octane booster that you can pour in your gas tank. What would it do and does it work?

I think ya talking about the one that has 104 on the label? If I recall, it was for either any old leaded-fuel engines or for those engines requiring a premium blend to run [when premium isn't available].
I don't think it really does anything special for a modern engine, ya better off using premium grade at the pump. As far as how it works, I dunno actually, maybe some other members can describe it all better than I.
