Simple GreenKoojo 07-15-2001, 07:47 PM I use Simple Green for my tires and rims and it works awesome. Are there any other uses for this product (on the car I mean)? It doesnt have acids or harmful material, so Im just wondering if anyone was successful using this product else where instead of just rims. Thanks (Buy this stuff and use it, works real good) dre 07-16-2001, 02:07 PM I use simple green on the entire engine compartment for both my cars. The first time I did my 55, I was amazed how nice the engine compartment looked. The 45 year old paint did not have any problems with the simple green taking it off. Heck, I even cleaned my hoses with this stuff (they have a dull shine to them now) I hope it doesn't hurt rubber, but I aint seen any problems so far... I can't say enough about Simple Green...It seems to be some alien technology, it works so good on anything. :alien: Nismoboy1 07-16-2001, 04:09 PM how would you use this on your wheels...do you just spray it on and hose it off or do you have to rub it in??? thanx. Koojo 07-16-2001, 06:30 PM I just spray the whole wheel (tire and rims) with simple green and leave it on there for about a minute. Then I take a sponge and work through the rims to take off the heavy brake dust. You can see it go to work on the tire because brown stuff will start coming down the wheel. I dont do do the tire with the sponge, because theres really no need to. Then I just hose off and the wheel looks sparkly clean. :D :D vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
