Disconnect the battery for 1/2 an hour. Rotate the steering wheel 90 degrees. In each corner you will feel a hole. Insert a THIN and long phillips head screw driver (also torx screwdrivers work well) and firmly push out while you are pulling on that corner of the air bag. Move to the other side and do it again. Rotate steering wheel 180 degrees and repeat. Place airbag cover side down in safe area. cdbeard1 06-04-2005, 08:27 PM Disconnect the battery for 1/2 an hour. Rotate the steering wheel 90 degrees. Got me on the right track and now my steering wheel is straight when I'm going down the road. rlith 06-04-2005, 09:36 PM If you were doing that to align your steering wheel, more than likely your regular alignment is out.
