injectors and regulators

I have a suzuki sidekick jlx, 16 valve, 1.6 liter.

My fuel bar became loose and gas was spraying everywhere. I decided to go ahead and replace all of the rubber parts for the injectors. Now everything is back together and my seals are definetly good. Problem is, now I have fuel spraying from the middle of the first two injectors themselves. The amount of pressure is extreme and the amount of fuel would be enough to travel 400 miles per hour.

It seems logical to assume that these injectors are damaged. But I don't want to replace them without solving the problem of extreme fuel pressure and risk destroying the new injectors.

Is this a fuel pressure regulator problem, or could it be something else?

Also, if the fuel pressure problem were solved, could it be that the injectors would function properly and that now they are just releasing excess pressure?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,
Rodney
