What year is your truck?

I might be able to help you out, although I can't make any promises.
I have an 84 or so parts 4x4 Blazer, and I live a nice 5 hours from you in Canada. Just north of the Curlew border crossing
Good hood, passenger door (If it will fit the pick-up)
2.8L motor and what not.
The truck is promised out to my girlfriends god daughter but their truck has a 4.3L, so they'll probably be willing to part with several parts

Let me know, and I'll take photo's on the weekend

If it's just body panels and a wire harness that you need then an autowreck is your best answer.
There is a self serve autowreck located in Chilliwack BC and is very affordable. It's located right beside the highway.
If Mark (Blond haired about 30) is still working there tell him that Stu that he went to school with sent you and he might cut you a deal.

The best that I can offer you is a good running 2.8L, and 1 2wd auto transmission with overdrive and all the body panels and mounts that you can use.

The carb on the 2.8L isn't that good. The second barrel seems to flood for some reason. A good carb mechanic might sort it out easilly. It was just cleaned and had a re-build kit dropped in but my mechanic friend doesn't have the best luck with carbs (it had the same problem before that kit was dropped in)

I have a set of fenders already pulled and the passenger one is still in good shape.
The drivers one has a small rust hole where know one can see it

If needed the wire harness would probably work, but there is some tape on it

Tough. I wish that I could help you out there.

I would hope that there are plenty of good used cars around there for sale, but I imagine that it's a matter of some money.

My sis lives close to the Linden border crossing, in the U.S. If you can't find anyone selling a car there I could ask her if she knows anyone selling an affordable car.
Although it doesn't help you get around at the moment

I may have scored . One of my coworkers said the guy next door is trying to sale his 2000 s-10 for 35 hundred with extened warranty. The jerk just buy a 2005 mustang. So it's off to the bank monday to get loan!

Congrats on your new S-10, and good luck with the loan.

Talk the guy inot a ride in the stang as part of the deal. Ford sure did that job right. Those cars are nice

The bad part is. I would rather have the stang than the s-10.

Well since you have to see the bank anyways it's just a matter of asking them for more money, and then taking longer to pay them back. It might even be easier to get a loan for a brand new car than used.

Hows the body on your old S-10?
If it isn't too bad you might want to V-8 it and give that Stang a run for it's money

I got a good at the at that 2000 s-10. Forget it!!!
The frame has been damaged at some time after he got it. The frame rails are bent under the middle of it.
I'll just get a brand new ranger with a warranty.
I know how to deal with a FORD POS.

I like fords better than chev's, so I sure won't bitch you out and call you a trader.
And your the one that knows what pickup is best for you.

If the guy is willing to drop the price of his S-10 to dirt cheap it might be worth it to get a body shop to have a look at the frame.
They can straighten most bent frames. They'll have a good idea if it's worth it.

If your friend still needs that transmission in a month I might be able to get my Sis to bring it to her house after her trip here.
I just don't know if I'll have the time to pull it
