I was wondering if a 1970 440 and 4 spped trans will fit in my 1992 Dakota which had a V-6 in it with a fivspeed. I understand i will need to chage some parts but my concern is its to big. Tahnks for you Help.

If you decide to do it, how about selling me the tranny and clutch for an auto to manual swap I have been looking at.

Yeah it'll fit. I've seen plenty of dakotas with 440's and 426's in them. I've also seen plenty of S10's with 454's in them. It'll be real tight but doable.

That would be fun to drive it would make my 95 5.2L 4X4 look sick!
