Engine swap on 1989 xj6

Has anyone heard of doing a engine swap on a 1989 jaguar xj6? I dont want to use a chevy or ford v8 but maybe a xj8 v8 or xjr supercharged motor, Or maybe even a bimmer v8 of some sort. I want something that is fuel injected and sounds like and import and not like a camaro. How hard would the wiring be and ecu. Could i use my same computer for a xjr v8 supercharged motor. I would like to have something that can be tuned for about 500hp. PLEASE let me know if anyone has done a xjr engine swap.
