Was wondering if anyone knows/has a attempted to swap a 4 speed auto trans for a manual one, i have a manual trans out of a 4 cylinder caravan and when I looked at the car it came out of it seemed to have the exact bolt up location under the hood as my 3.0L V6. Will i need new driveshafts too or can the auto ones be used? And will i need any other parts (other than clutch pedal etc.). Oh and can the flywheel bolt up to my v6?

Man, you are bored arent you! heheheheh If you really want to attempt this, you'd better cover all your angles. First and formost being your electrical conversions, mainly the computer. Next, I wouldnt bother trying the manual from a 4 cylinder if you can find a manual tranny from a 3L motor, like in a Daytona or similar. The 4 cyl. tranny may look the same but may not be able to handle the increased power of the 6 cylinder. I know you probably want to swap trannys because of the problems with the automatics but I would suggest trying to put in a 3 spd if you're not happy with the 4 spd. May be a lot less problems. Good luck with it!
