1987 Cutlass Supreme PerformenceDaves_cutty 06-01-2005, 07:38 PM Whats up guys, I have a question. I just got my 1987 Cutlass Supreme Brougham and it is in excellent condition. It's all stock and everything works in it, even the a/c, which suprised me. Its got the stock 307 5.0 L in it. I was wondering what I could do to it to get more HP out of it. My bro has a 87 Monte SS w/ a 350 in it and he thinks he's the big stuff, it is pretty sweet though. So what are some things I could do to my engine that would give me a boost in Hp.? I was thinking some minor to medium mods, nothing that requires taking the engine out tho. Anyways, let me know what you think. Thanks, Dave. Infinitrium 06-01-2005, 11:49 PM A good place to start out would be your exhaust system. A set of headers and a nice 3 inch exhaust will wake up the car and be fairly easy to install. A 500-600 cfm carb on a performance intake would go along really well with that set of headers and a good exhaust. The G body cars were popular with smalltime hotrodders so performance parts should be easy to get. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
