I'm going to get Eibach Springs and I want to get either KYB or TEINS. Where can I find a good deal on them? Which is better? And how much do they usually run?

the Tein suspension we refer to here is a one piece coilover that consists of the spring and the shock. for shocks i would recommend KYB or Koni. I use Koni now and they work quite well actually. I am ditching them and my Ground Control though to get the Tein setup.

getting the Teins? I thought it was the JIC-Magic you wanted?? those are the one piece coilovers. The Teins are the green strut/lowering spring combo.

been drinking tonight? lol

dude, just get the TEIN TypeNA's. don't go for combo type setup with springs from here shocks from there if you don't already own the springs. the springs and shocks that come with the NA's are matched for each other.

you can just order them directly from TEIN. go to their homepage. I got mine in 5 business days with air freight. I got the soft springs with my NA's. if you dont wanna bother with ordering direct, I think Luke at digitalracer.com can get them for you too. :alien:

I was drinking, how the hell did you know? LOL I would love the JIC Magic, but they cost a hell of a lot of dough ya know? Now I am having second thoughts about what I want because my first concern is lowering the ride quality.

from my experience, if you get the TypeNA's with soft springs, the ride is only slightly stiffer than stock. right now I have it set pretty soft on the damp rate, but it handles bumps and dips very well. the best part is that the NA's make absolutely no noise compared to like the race struts or my TypeHA's on another car. the NA's on a P11 is very comparable to stock, but the ride height is just perfect... 45mm drop :D

i got mine about $1100-$1150 total including everything and premium air freight. order on a friday, get it by the following thursday. :D :D :D probably the same with luke, but I like to be in control of the total process.
