98 TAHOE radio lights... Oh Brother....

Okay, I got a new problem. My radio lights, or some of them on my radio head unit (stock) on my 98 Tahoe, have decided to burn out. It is on two of the preset columns. Has anyone ever changed the little bulbs in one of these, and can it be done??? It is annoying, and since I work third shift, i do a lot of night driving. I can pull the radio, and taking it apart might not be a problem, I am curious as to whether the bulbs are available (radio shack, etc...) and if it can be done...

mine did the same thing. I lost 4 of the number buttons till i hit a big bump and two came back on(or as you put it, 1 column).i thought about getting an aftermarket unit, but the stock one has great performance for my needs. i guess i can live with it for now.
