88 k2500 headlights quit working khwils 05-26-2005, 03:28 PM
Is there a fuse for the headlights on a 88 k2500, I can't find one. Thanks, khwils J-Ri 05-27-2005, 04:44 AM There is a fuse. It is right behind the e-brake pedal. Check the owners manual for the fuse number (If you have it), otherwise just pull all the fuses. Headlights being out could also be a bad switch (do the parking lights come on in the headlight position?), a loose connection, or the bulbs could be burned out (do the high beams work?) jveik 05-31-2005, 10:36 PM also, when i bought my 73 cheyenne c-10, the headlights both quit on me and it ended up being excessive corrosion on the contacts that are inside the plug for each headlight. i popped em out and used some sand paper to get the corrosion off and they were good as new and worked fine after that Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
