Remote Locking / Key FOBmadfinn 05-25-2005, 05:24 PM Just bought a used 1998 Yukon SLT. It didn't come with a Remote/KEY Fob, and the person we bought it from, who wasn't the origional owner, didn't get one from the person they bought the truck from. My question is, did this vehicle come with a Remote/Key Fob when it was new? I'd like to get one for it, but not sure that the vehicle is equiped to work with one. Thanks Eggert 05-26-2005, 12:09 AM Hi, the Remote Function Actuation - Keyless Entry (domestic) has an RPO code of AU0. This is on the sticker in the glove compartment with about 80 other codes. Also, the dealer can run your option list using the VIN. Take care, Eggert :bananasmi madfinn 05-28-2005, 08:51 PM Hi, the Remote Function Actuation - Keyless Entry (domestic) has an RPO code of AU0. Please update with how this ends up. Take care, Eggert :bananasmi madfinn 06-04-2005, 03:50 PM Great, so do you have the option? Please update with how this ends up. Take care, Eggert :bananasmi looks like we have it, now its up to my son (his truck) on whether or not he want to buy one. More important now is to first figure out the interior lights (light stay on with Override button out), then I'll have him consider the remote. thanks 2kflhr 06-14-2005, 09:14 PM looks like we have it, now its up to my son (his truck) on whether or not he want to buy one. If you have the door open with the interior lights on and depress the overide button, they willremain on for for 30 to 40 seconds before going out. I thought mine was faulty also. I had a '92 Yukon and the lights would go out as soon as the button was depressed, but not the '99. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
