'00 GA - "Creaking" noise in front-end suspension

Good day,

I purchased a used 2000 GA about three months ago from a local dealership. The car was in fantastic shape (it was in the show room beside an '03 Vette Z06) and it's been reating us well, but recently it's developed this "creaking" noise which I think is coming from the passenger side front end. I'm pretty sure it's suspension-related, as it's most noticeable when driving slowly through a parking lot and going over speed bumps and whatnot. At higher speeds it's barely audible. It's not really a big deal, but I have talked to one other GA owner who has complained of the same noise. She said she had taken it to a dealership twice, and both times they couldn't find anything wrong. I'm just wondering if this is a common GA problem and if there is a way to fix it. Thanks in advance!

It could be a dry bushing or like in my GAGT, I have a similar noise that I think is comming from the strut itself, when I go over a speed bump the compression of the strut is when I hear the noise.
I hope this helps you out, other members may have some other suggestions.

Good luck,

Most likely a strut issue. Your strut could be bad, or it could just need some lube (administered through the top of the tower)

I'm with Ride on this one. The strut bushings tend to dry up (at the top of the strut where it bolts to the strut tower). Spray the hell out of them with good lubricating grease like the white lithium spray or a good silicone spray at the top of the bushing where all the little "square" holes are.

My struts made the same noise after I had them replaced. Hubby lubed them up good and the noise went away.

Ridenour what the heck is that green thing jumping around on your post? lmao
