Hi,

I've got a 1996 850GLT wagon with 105,000 miles, and I have no clue what is wrong. I started it up earlier today after it had been sitting for about 8 hours, and it took quite a while before it turned over. Shrugging my shoulders assuming a weak battery, I proceeded to put it into reverse, as i tapped on the gas, it hesitated, shook, and did not go for a couple of seconds. When it finally took off, i then put it into Drive to pull it out of the lot, and it did the same thing. The engine light is now on, but i have driven it about 15 miles and have started it several times without any trouble since the problem first occoured.

What could this be??????
