I have noticed that the new Dist Cap and rotor are burning at the contact points inside and is not getting enought power, I just installed this cap and rotor about 2 weeks ago, I sanded the contacts and it runs better. GOod guess but New Wires. plugs .035 gap and downsized them from .040 to see if that helped. I am not sure if it a Wells or not, I got it from advance auto parts and I do know about Wells being crap I ran into some bad E modules once and they were wells DaMoNe6969 05-25-2005, 06:50 PM could be moisture in the cap.. take it off, spray it with ether, let it dry, than put it back on..
