crankshaft position sensor

1989 grand am quad 4 2.3L DOHC, while tring to replace crankshaft position sensor, sensor snapped in half. Bottom half still in engine block/ any suggestions?

If the above is what it looks like, can you get the retaining bolt off? If so, what's left should pull out fairly easily. U may need to drop the oil filter for better access. A pair of needlenose pliers seems like they'd grip what's left for removal.
