I have some surface rust on my 88 factory wheels. I want to repaint them and was going to do them in a satin black to match the wheel flares, plus I think it will look better aginst the silver beauty rings. I'm thinking any durable paint like Rustolum will work fine here. I don't need high temperature paint for the heat from the brakes....right ?

I think i would use high heat paint, just because if the car was outside all day, i would not want my paint to fade over time. thats what i think. unless somebody has a better idea or a difference of thought. My 2 cents.

Thanks, vamc. That's what I think I'll do. I was thinking more about the rust, but I'm not sure what the UV rays will do to rustoleum so I'll do the high temp paint. That should also insure the paint won't discolor or crack from the heat of the front brakes.
