Airbag Sensor in 95 Intrepid?

I just bought a 95 Intrepid As-Is. As far as I can tell, it's in very good shape, but there are two problems I still need to fix before I take it for a safety and I think they may be related. The two plastic clips that hold the passenger side headlight in place are both broken, so I need a new headlight lens. No big deal there, but the second problem is the airbag light comes on about ten seconds after starting the engine and stays on. I'm assuming the airbag sensor is near the headlight and has possibly been damaged or knocked loose. Is that a logical assumption? So, what I need to know is, if I'm on the right track, how do I find the sensor? (what does it look like, and where is it?) How much would a new one cost me if it does need replacing? and should I be messing with an airbag sensor myself? (what is the risk of accidentally deploying the airbags and how do I minimize that risk?)

Forgot to mention. It's the 3.3 Litre engine.

Take it to the dealer to get the airbag codes read.An aftermarket scan tool will not read the codes,Daimler Chrysler's factory scan tool DRBIII will only read the airbag codes. It might not be the airbag sensor,It could be the clockspring or something else and you do not want to mess with the airbags. You could set the airbags off by accident.

Well, I bit the bullet and took the car to Chrysler. They charged me over a hundred dollars to tell me it was a clockspring code, but after they adjusted a loose wiring connection, the code has cleared and there doesn't appear to be anything wrong!
