Well, the dx stock has the non-vtec motor, so it's a bit slow, but it is lighter and it makes a great car for a base tuner project. If you want to mod it, go for it... if you want luxury, look for an ex.

Depends on how much you want to spend... engine swap would be best, or do the mini-me swap for vtec... if you don't wanna swap i/h/e will give you a little bit, but not that much... and nos, but of course that's not street legal. Basically it just depends on how much you want to spend.
