Wheres the Oil Metering linkage go on a holley?73Rx2 05-20-2005, 01:54 AM anyone know where the linkage for the oil metering lines should go to if your running a holley, or is there a way to do without the linkage altogether? by the way, its a 12a if it makes a difference... Thanx, FDTT 05-20-2005, 06:02 AM All the folks i see running holley carbs dont run there OMP. They run premix. D3rELiC 05-20-2005, 08:17 AM i second that 73Rx2 05-21-2005, 12:01 AM so just ditch the whole thing and mix it at the pump, huh? that sounds easy enuf to me...how much oil should i mix with it, and which type of oils good? i just remembered seeing this site a while back and the guy had his oil metering lines going to the carb...can someone explain that one for me? he said it was how racing beat installed it, had them going into the primary float bowl. D3rELiC 05-21-2005, 01:40 AM check out the faq and look for premix, plenty of good info there. oil used is typicaly 2 stroke oil, and for the guy running his omp to the carb, maybe he had some fitment done to his intake manifoil. anyway, it runs better on premix, and you dont have to worry about omp failure. and you can look special at the gaz station pooring oil in ur gaztank. 73Rx2 05-21-2005, 02:40 AM Right on, thanx for the info much appreciated...
