When auto lock is depressed by remote, or manually at door, passenger side makes a grinding noise. How extreme is the fix?

When auto lock is depressed by remote, or manually at door, passenger side makes a grinding noise. How extreme is the fix?

i also have the same problem form the passenger side,
my alarm goes off on its own, is it a related problem, and the door lock make the gridding noise own there own when the car is running or not, please help,
