No i dont want a B series engine going for somthing different Redline_civic91 05-18-2005, 07:48 PM lol either b-series or nothing when it comes to dohc for ur car buddy. Greenblurr93 05-18-2005, 07:50 PM nope sorry, maybe if you searched you would have learned the answer to your question before posting... d series fits ONLY d series B series fits only b series well, you the the idea. EDIT: grr.. you beat me civicHBsi91 05-18-2005, 08:46 PM Today theres no more "different" everything has basically been done. If you want a DOHC motor your gonna either have to swap a B, H, or K series motor. Now I have heard of people putting DOHC head on SOHC blocks but heard it took alot of machining and I bet it wasent wortht the trouble. Schister66 05-18-2005, 10:53 PM I used to have an EX Civic and now i have a GS-R and i'll tell you that the B series is much more fun than the D series. Just swap or turbo what you got. Don't f*** with the head because for the price, you could have something a lot better!! duffman868 06-03-2005, 02:11 PM the dohc on a sohc is just about as diffferent you can get but dont really expect any help. i have only read about one person doing this and he hasn't released much info and he did it with the ew motor and a zc browntop head. you could swap in a dohc zc but that whould be illigal and stupid because you already have a d16y8 vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
