Classic C-Type to be auctioned at Christie'sJaguar D-Type 05-18-2005, 01:55 AM Jaguar D-Type 05-18-2005, 02:04 AM porscheguy9999 05-18-2005, 11:50 AM Now that is a classic. I am a big fan of all old Jaguars, E-Type, C-Type, etc. These cars had so much feeling in the design that just about nobody could hate. But the designs now are less than that. BUt if Jaguar could put out a car with all of the styling elements that make it a Jaguar, then they would sell a crap load of them. Jaguar D-Type 05-19-2005, 05:14 PM I think the next aluminum XK will perform and sell well despite looking similar to an Aston Martin. The current XK has a lot of front and rear overhang. The current aluminum XJ has a lot of Jaguar styling elements such as the curve in the rear door, wheels closer to the corners, larger outer headlights vs inner headlights like the 1968 XJ, and a short distance between the bottom of fender above the wheels and the top of the fender. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
