I got a used turbo for free from my friend. we dont know what it came off of but one side says Aireasearch M10 A/R .46 and the other is M26 A/r .48. There is no wastegate but it is internally wastegated.Turbo spins but doesnt spin so bad to where it keeps spinning when i let go. There is no Shaft Play. Does this turbo need rebuilt or is it ok to use?

If there's no shaft play, good chance that the center section is still good.

yeah sounds good to me, the turbo is not gonna keep spinin unless it's ball baring.

thats a nice turbo to get for free!! might be worth it for you to spend the $50 for a shop to take it apart and physicly inspent the center section, shafts,wheels exc. its never fun spending 3 hours under your car bolting everything on and haveing to take it right back off.

you could send it to me, ill pay for shipping and inspect the whole thing inside and out, all it will cost you is the turbo... lol J/P, great find man.

Yea it is a great find. Thanks for all the help. Does anyone have installation with pics of a Internal Wastegate? I have to install a new one since the stock one isnt on there. Any help is appreciated.
