Tahoe Shocks

I recently installed new Monroe Reflex shocks for my 1999 Tahoe LT (110,000). The ride is terrible. I thought these gas shocks were for comfort but I guess not. The ride is just as bumpy as the worn factory shocks are. Any suggestions on what shocks provide a comfortable ride? I know the factory shocks were Gabriel shocks but I can't find those nowhere!

i got sum bilstein replacements and they re pretty cool ....the stock ones were totally shot and these bilsteins made a huge difference
