97 Intrepid 3.5 L Stalls Intermittently

Hi,
I have a 97 Intrepid 3.5L and it keeps stalling intermittently. It then starts after sitting for abt 10-15 mins. I went to a mechanic and he said it was the EGR and I had that replaced and had the fuel injection system cleaned and the problem started up after 1 day.
I have seen similar posts from other people in the forum but haven't seen an answer. The mechanic gave up on it and wants me to take it to the dealer which I am very reluctant to do.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you could have a weak fuel pump.
