hp questiongeisi13 05-17-2005, 08:29 AM my friend just put an IHI RHB5 turbo on his civic ex he had it at 10 psi he also has a b and m fpr which is at about 50 psi and and obx intake manifold i think he has a few other things too but not sure just out of curiosity does anyone know what kind of hp he might be putting down? just so i know what il be running against next weekend at the track Schister66 05-17-2005, 10:43 AM well for most kits the rule for boost is about 3% hp gain for every pound of boost.....its not really accurate, but it will give an approximate hp. So if he is pushing 10 psi on a D16Y8 w/ 127 hp he now has 165bhp or so.... The mani will help some, but not a whole lot. His car will have roughly as much power as a B16, by my figuring. Correct me if im wrong. scottsee 05-17-2005, 11:06 AM 1lb boost (if within turbo effeceny) is good for 10fwhp but reamber psi and airflow are 2 diffrent things. airflow is what matters most.. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
