It just started doing this.....a knocking noise up front around the belts plus a major acceleration problem, stuttering or no acceleration at all but when it does catch it takes off but when i shift down gears, 1st, 2nd and 3rd it will stutter or have no acceleration until it takes off again.

errrr well the damn thing broke down today. will barely run when started. guess its going to the garage...when i get it towed back to town

I finally had the car towed back to town once they find out whats wrong and fix the problem...I will post an update for all you other people looking for a solution.

they had a bad problem with tranny's on those, but also the crankshaft pulley's go bad too
