check your vacuum hoses going to the actuator itself, make sure they haven't lodged themselves loose, also, you could have a bad connection either at your actuator or the control switches on the steering wheel. Make sure they're in snug with the steering wheel.

Make sure the wiring connector is tight to the cruise module. Check mounting bolts and any ground wires tight. Make sure no wires are rubbing and causing an accidental ground. Make sure the engine to body ground strap is tight and not corroded.
Check the height of your brake pedal over the brake light switch. If it's too close, a bouncing pedal might hit the switch and kick out the cruise. Make sure the pedal returns firmly to full up position and doesn't bounce. A worn or loose fit where the pedal arm pushes on the arm to the master sylinder will allow the pedal to bounce a little. You can compensate by adjusting back on the brake light switch to give it a little more clearance away from the pedal arm.

I had this on my 03 Sebring when it was still quite new. It turned out to be the switch behind the brake pedal that deactivates the cruise-control, when you tap the brakes. Once they replaced the switch, the problem of the cruise just going off over bumps disappeared and has not come back.
