yea, looks good. is says you painted the grill yourself...was it chrome or was it the grey plastic one? if it was chrome, what did you do to prep it?

Thank all of yall very much ive always wondered what people think of my truck, so now i guess i know...

VIPER: i was kind of weary about puttin that chrome box on there, i was wantin to keep the red and black, but it worked out better than i though

NIGEL: it was the grey plastic one, but for the chromes, go get some sanding sponges, and scuff it down real good, then get some cleaner that cuts grease and wax and leaves no residue, prime it, wait a few minutes, spray first coat, wait a few more minutes, spray second coat...i used gravity fed gun with paint my friend mixed up, but i did it once before on a truck with rustoleum spray can

How did you prep the grey one? My had has and '02 with one and im trying to get him to trade with me.(dosent seem like a hard decision, right?) but either way, im lookin to paint the whole thing, like on the Z71 Tahoes.

I'd just let a body shop do it. But then, I live right across the street from one...

Nigel, my body man called it "FlexPrimer?". Worked great on my bumper and the chrome part of the grill.

Jethro what did you give for those Helo's, those are the exact wheels I want on my Chevy. I first seen them in the chrome, then I seen the black chrome ones and thought they were even more bitchin and if I keep my truck those will likely end up on it.
