hello to you all

A new question , since a long time my car doesn't restrat when hot after a long ride in town or motor way.
I have installed a push button in the car that connect the soleinoid of the strater and then with the key on the engine strat.
I tought it was a problem of transmission , but I have a new one

Who knows what could be the bad contact when hot

Thank's

Paul

The only positive thing is: when the engine stalls when riding I can restart immediatly without stopping and returning to P position

Another question , what could happen if I put the rear gear on when I drive, the engine will stall ?, is only the hydraulic system that could be damage or some mechanics parts

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem. When I drive from work to home or the other way around (50km) and I turn of the car, it will not start.
Sometimes when i'm lucky it will start after 1/2hours but most cases I'll have to wait for an hour or more. This happens to me every day.
One thing I should say that I cahnged the start-enigne and after this the problems occurs everyday. Could it be caused by the replaced start-engine or is it a mentioned due to a bad contact??

If this the problems occurs everyday, you should install a push button as I did

Its easy
Loser

On the solenoid you have to connect a wire ( negative if I remember)
you enter the wire in the car to a push button and go back to the battery (positive).
Also when you drive and if the engine stalls you restart easily, you don't need to stop the car

I think the problem is coming from the system on the gearbox (park neutral OD D 1 2) and when it is hot there is a bad contact inside.
It is not inside the transmission , mine is new and the problem is always there

Good luck

Most times it's the crank sensor... when this Sensor is hot, the resistant isn't right, and the engine dosen't start because the ECM/PCM doesn't now the position of cylinders.

hi Mathias how are you
I'm well, thanks, and you?

can you tell me where is the crank sensor .

The crank sensor is behind the balancer on the passengersside of the engine. Under the waterpump is
the Balancer which is direct connected to the crankshaft... pulley. Behind this, is the Crank Sensor. It
tell's the ECM, where the crankshaft is positioned.

If the engine doesn't know the position, it woun't crank...

For the MAX, I send you an eMail...

Best regards
Mathias
